College students

Are you a college student looking to gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, and make a meaningful impact? VLM offers unique volunteer opportunities that allow students to engage with communities, contribute to educational and social projects, and broaden their global perspective.

Volunteering as a student with VLM is more than just giving your time – it’s about growing as an individual, learning from others, and becoming part of a global network of Vincentians seeking a world of peace, dignity, solidarity & justice.

Why Volunteer as a College Student?

This is what you can expect as a volunteer:

Who can apply?

College students from all fields and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Generally, student volunteers complete a range of roles (link to volunteer roles page) or some more specialised students such as those in education or healthcare may work in more specialised placements. No previous volunteer experience is required – just a passion for helping others and a willingness to learn.

Why Volunteer now?

This is a chance to remain connected to a global community, share your life experience, and to help VLM create a lasting impact in marginalised communities. The work you do will not only benefit the communities you support, but will also enrich your own life as you continue to grow and make a difference in the world.
