VLM has strong links to Ethiopia with over 300 people from Ireland having made the journey to volunteer in projects across the country. War has had a massive impact and there is an urgent need for rebuilding and rehabilitation. VLM is supporting the AGCS school run by the Vincentians in Mekele, Tigray to re-open. Over 130 of the children there cannot afford to pay their school fees. We would love to sponsor all of these school places. The fees are equivalent to just €11 per month or €126 per year.
