Promotion of the Gospel values of peace and justice and to live out the ‘option for the poor’.

Solidarity

Volunteers work directly with local communities in Africa, in a way that respects their culture and reduces and tackles the root causes of poverty.

Partnership

VLM volunteers work side by side as mission partners with Vincentian Fathers and the Daughters of Charity to promote social justice, poverty eradication and education.

VLM volunteers actively engage in global justice issues, ensuring that local partners and communities lead and develop their own solutions to issues facing them.
