Camino de Santiago Fundraiser for Alemachen, Ethiopia
Two parishioners from Navan are walking the last 110km of the Camino de Santiago to raise funds for the Alemachen CM Program in Ethiopia. One of the walkers is 12-year-old Clodagh-Jane, an alter server who would love to see the famous ‘Botafumeiro’ in action in Santiago de Compostela Cathedral. She felt if she was walking the Camino she would try to raise funds for those less fortunate than herself. The Alemachen centre is run by our partners the Vincentian Fathers and provides medical treatment and boarding facilities for children with physical disabilities. For more information about the Alemachen centre please see their website www.alemachen.org. If you would like to make a donation to this fundraiser to support the work of the Alemachen programme you can do so by clicking on the ‘donate’ button below and referencing ‘Alemachen’. Many thanks.
